It's an "ehh" purchase
I purchased this vehicle as a commuter car because it was low mileage and had great mpg! I averaged about 32 mpg, and though I couldn't make a full work week on one tank, it was much better than what I had been driving. It has a large trunk for the size of the car overall, dashboard is well lit and it's easy to maneuver. First bad experience was the transmission. It seemed as if it took too long to change gears while accelerating on the highway. Then, after I drove on the highway for a while and came to a stop for a turn, it didn't want to pass through the turn. A difficult problem to show to a transmission repair shop, so I just let it go for three years. After these three years, I could tell that the transmission was on its last leg because each of these things became more recurrent, a cheap car and not worth the cost of either repairing or replacing the transmission. Second bad experience within the first year was that having used the A/C while sitting on an on-ramp for 20 minutes to a major highway, it stalled out as I was accelerating to enter the highway. This issue happened several times after, but usually after my highway commute was over and I was in a parking lot to do some shopping before going home. Third was highway noise. Fourth problem was Texas wind, a gust of wind would almost send you in to another vehicle, and I always had a fear of being pulled over for swerving across the lane line. Fifth and most workable problem was the blind spots caused by the head rests, easy to pull them out and get a clear view, but it should have been considered in the design and ability to drive safely.

Cute car, good mileage, gets you where you need to go with.
When I picked this vehicle, I was desperate and didn't have much money or income to be choosy. It was a previous lease, but still had 30,000+ remaining on its warranty, so having a high mile warranty is a plus about this car. It's cute and compact, and it's gotten be safely to work and school for the past two or three years. I love the mileage: can't complain about getting nearly 40 miles per gallon in a regular non-hybrid car. I like that there's decent space in the back seat and trunk, it's not super compact like some cars are nowadays. But there are plenty of things that I don't like about it too. The horsepower must be quite low, because it's a very slow accelerating car. This can be frustrating, especially when merging on the highway with impatient drivers behind me. It's very light in overall weight, which is good for mileage but awful for driving on windy and snowy roads in the country! There are small things that bug me too, like the passenger front seat has no arm rest, there are no mirrors in the visors, and a super simple and plain radio system that makes it hard to play music from my iPhone in my car.

I am 100% satisfied with my choice of car.
My Nissan Versa is surely one of the best cars I've owned. It is great on gas, that's for sure! If driven correctly, a full tank lasts quite a long time. However, a con to this vehicle is that it is an automatic and I do like stick shift. Sometimes I feel as if as an automatic, my versa doesn't shift exactly when I want it to. Not that there's anything wrong with the car per say, I just like to be in more control of my vehicle. My Nissan Versa is a 2013, so its fairly new, and its clean! I don't think it was owned by anyone else before I bought it. Everything was in wonderful condition. The color is red, which is one of my favorite colors, although you should never choose a vehicle by color. I live in Texas, so a working air conditioner is a must! After starting the car, the ac is almost instantly blowing cool air! The seats are comfortable and the car is perfect size for my family. Although, there is only one arm rest in the front, meaning the passenger seat doesn't have an arm rest. This is a small sacrifice I made when comparing the pros and cons of buying this vehicle. You can't go wrong with great gas mileage!!
