Reliable, economical
I really enjoyed the vehicle, and it was one of my favorites before it finally gave out after years of service. It was a very reliable car, and parts for it were cheap. Additionally, it has very good MPG for being so dated. While there were little issues here and there (such as with the door handles falling apart), there were no major issues for years. What I disliked is that a majority of the issues were cooling-related. Either the engine was overheating or the cooling fans gave out or the vehicle's AC compressor went out. Other than the heating issues, it ran beautifully.

Never again
This was my first car purchase. I fell in love with the outside look of the car and had to have one. I have had two of these in my life, both have been junk-held together with nuts and bolts. The first one, despite being just a couple years old, blew the air conditioning almost immediately. Summers in NC and AL were miserable! It cost about 500 dollars to fix it, and that was on the cheap side!! Just constant problems with these cars and almost from the get go. Transmission at 40k miles. The muffler completely separated from the car. We took the time and effort to take good care of these cars, to no avail. I ended up letting both of them go back to the finance company. I hate to say it, but I did. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but apparently, I like to make my mistakes at least twice first before I learn from it. The outside looks nice. The position of the driver in the steering wheel is supper comfy. They are low to the ground and feel sturdy...somewhat. That's about all the positives I have. Don't buy this garbage. Don't consider it. Ever!!

Old ugly reliable.
My current daily driver is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE1, a car I purchased in college that I have yet to replace, but I am urgently working on that effort to do so. So, without much ado, there is a lot I dislike about this car. The seating and suspension are like a rickety old sports car, which is to say stiff and unforgiving. The seating is abominable, absolutely uncomfortable. The window motors burn out all the time. The environmental controls are not great either. I had to get an extensive tune-up. The performance is okay at best, but for the sake of parity is probably junk.
