2001 Ford Windstar OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Springfield, Missouri
Not my first choice, but most certainly not my last.
This is my first experience with driving a minivan. I was expecting the steering to be different than a car and maybe some getting used to. But, it really has surprised me. It handles like a smaller vehicle and I don't feel like I am sitting in the middle of nowhere when I am driving. Other than having a bird's-eye view of traffic, it's really close to the feeling of driving a smaller car. My van has power everything plus a key-less entry which is very nice. It drives good and once I purchased a super heavy duty battery along with an alternator, I have been good to go ever since. I wanted the extra space to carry my inventory back and forth to my flea market booths. The van is super easy to get in and out of. Other than normal wear and tear, like replacing the tires, she has been a good girl and very dependable. I wanted a SUV type or a truck when I purchased the Windstar but this is a good choice for now.

Good minivan for the price.
I have a basic model without any of the bells and whistles. It is an automatic with non-power doors. We have the seat configuration of two, two, and three. This allows the kids to be able to get to the back without having to either climb over a seat or take the time to put it down.
