Has lasted many miles
I love Hondas because they hold up forever. My Odyssey has been great. It has served its purpose of being a 3 row vehicle. I loved that I put the two captain chairs in the middle row next to each other, which allowed the 3rd row to be accessed without kids walking all over the middle seat. I also love how easily the middle row seats come out. Now that I don't have all the kids I have taken one of the seats out for extra storage space. Overall, the van has been fantastic and has lived up to a lot of miles. However, there have been some cons. The transmission has been recalled twice and if you ask me still does not work properly. The airbag has been recalled 3 times. But besides recalls the only other major complaints has been the motor on the wing windows went out at about 5 years, they are $1,000 each. And the lock motor on one of the sliding doors has also gone out. Honda wants $3,000 for that. The minor complain is the location of the spare tire. You have to take the middle row seats out to access the tire. The older the van gets the more road noise I can hear, but otherwise this has been a great 3rd row vehicle for my family.

I am very pleased with our Odyssey.
Our 2004 Honda Odyssey has no mechanical issues and has received good reviews from our mechanics when we have taken it in for oil changes and regular maintenance. Overall, the minivan performs well in city, rural, and interstate settings. Our family of seven fits nicely in the van, and we have been able to take long trips two states away regularly in it without complaints. Since we own horses, we have been able to remove the middle seats and store the back bench seat in the rear to make a flat area large enough to haul square bales of hay on a tarp in the vehicle without any difficulty. We regularly can fit three large bags of grain, various children's items, and groceries for our large family in the back storage area without taking up space in the passenger area. We are able to place one or two rear-facing and/or forward-facing car seats in the middle of the passenger area without issues. The latch features are conveniently located and easy to use. The radio and DVD player are definitely a blessing with a large family who loves entertainment on a long road trip. Along those same lines, having a power adapter in the rear of the van has been great since my older teens can use a long usb cord and a car charger to charge their phones and tablets on the road!
