Honda holds up
My 2005 Honda Odyssey has been going strong for 10 years! Mechanical breakdowns have been nonexistent (except for a dead battery). The interior has held up well under the wear and tear of car seats and two children growing up to teen-agers. The safety features of stability assist, front and side airbags makes me feel confident for the safety of passengers as well as for a teenaged driver. Fold-down rear seats and removable middle seats mean there is plenty of room for cargo. I love the storage carousel in the middle seat floor area for storage of items not immediately needed, and a little drawer under the front passenger seat is a nicely concealed space for storage. Seating for up to 8 passengers makes it a great vehicle to take on vacation to see family, and there are plenty of seating options with the fold-down and removable seats. Visibility from the front windshield and through the back window is wide, and makes me feel more comfortable on the road. Nifty window shades for the middle seat passengers help keep them more comfortable in sunny weather. All in all, my Odyssey is great, and I plan to keep for many more years.

Superb Van
I love driving my Honda Odyssey. It is a very smooth ride, you hardly ever feel the bumps even on the worst roads. I bought this van because we have kids. Putting car seats in and out of the van is as easy as moving car seats can be. I don't like that there's only one latch system on the rear seat though, and there's not a good place to connect the rear strap without blocking the luggage area. There is plenty of foot and head room in this vehicle even for the tallest of people. My van is equipped with a removable middle seat in the middle row which turns it from a normal 7 passenger van to an 8 passenger van. The windows are nicely tinted and dark. The windows in the sliding doors both roll down which is wonderful for hot summer days. Also in those windows there is built in window shades that can be lifted or lowered back into place. We've had some mechanical issues with the van which included replacing the power steering pump and entire transmission. While that trip to the mechanic was a costly one, it did not change our minds about the Odyssey. If you are looking for a van that can hold four car seats AND a booster seat safely, this is your car! While entering and exiting would be painful for adults, kids do not mind jumping over seats to buckle up. The Honda Odyssey truly is a family vehicle.
