I love my car
We absolutely love our car. I find that it handles very smoothly on the roads. So much that I don't feel the bumps as hard with here are no interior rattles or any other noticeable issues when driving. We purchased at 20K miles and have already taken it for a drive across the state. The interior is very comfortable. It is considered a compact car, but I don't feel like it is very compact. It has felt very roomy. I thought for sure by looks alone that I would have trouble getting in and out, but my legs fit with no problems at all. I even have extra space in the front. I climbed in the back with my son, and I still had room for my knees, and I didnÕt feel like it was a monumental task to get in and out of. The design is very sleek and modern, and it made me feel like I got a very nice car. I have received nothing but compliments on both the carÕs appearance as well as the handling. I always expected the Kia name to be very cheap, but I really feel like that is not the case at all. I love the ability to connect via Bluetooth. The exterior is almost sport like, and I wouldn't have guessed that it was a Kia from afar.

Great car. Reliable and great on gas.
I bought the car when my only other mode of transportation, a motorcycle, called it quits. I have bad credit and had to get a loan with a high annual percentage rate, but it was still worth it in the long run. I searched high and low for weeks and couldn't find anything newer than about 2005 and didn't have over 100,000 miles on it. I finally came across this 2016 Kia Rio at a dealership close by for a crazy price. I think it was around $8,500. For a 2016 Kia Rio with 52,000 miles on it, it was a steal. I immediately when to the dealership, took it for a test drive and checked everything out under the hood and was sold. It has become my daily driver, putting 40+ miles on it every single day for the last two years. The only problem I've had is one tire with a small leak in it which I fixed right away. With regular oil changes and maintenance this car has been amazing. I've driven half way across the country and back with it a few times with no problems at all. Not to mention, the gas mileage. I believe my drive with a car full of heavy equipment from San Diego to Dallas Texas, I got an average of 35 miles per gallon for the whole trip. That's pretty crazy for a standard sedan that's not a hybrid. The payments for this car are $230 a month and $80 for insurance. I have never been in an accident or pulled over so luckily my insurance is pretty cheap. Also it being a newer car helps with that as well. 10/10 car, I will probably by another newer one down the road when it's time to get a new car.

Atrocious
The car is cheaply made and shabby, and it's grossly underpowered. I know Kia isn't exactly known for power, but I thought they were getting better in terms of quality; however, this Rio is so lame. If I hadn't needed a car quickly, I'd have looked for anything else not named Mitsubishi Mirage. The features are barebones and don't make sense at all--I mean, why would you make a car that has Sirius Satellite Radio but no power windows?! Give me power windows over some stupid advanced feature that I don't care about at all. It's so ridiculous. Also, do not get this car if you live anywhere that gets more than three inches of snow per storm. I live in New York, and the car is so underpowered that if you get stuck in slush, forget about getting the car out. You'll have to wait for the plow to smack you into a ditch.
