Happy Horses Happy Owner
I had always been a Ford girl, until my Ford laid down and was going to cost a small fortune to repair. Yes, I was one of those unfortunate individuals that got the 6.0 Powerstroke. So, I decided to go with a new Chevrolet Truck. At first I was a little worried that it wouldn't pull my horse trailer since I went to a gas engine from a diesel, but I have been happy with its performance. It drives, rides and handles great. I love having the 4WD, which has saved me a time or two especially at horse shows and my son's motocross races. I would have to say the only things I have found wrong with my truck are that the gas mileage is horrible, when it rains real hard sometimes water will get in my rear door, and it seems like a lot of the maintaince has to be done at the dealerships

Tough old truck.
The 90 C/K 2500 series is the most reliable truck that I've ever owned. Every single issue I've had with the truck, has been easy to find the parts, as well as work on the truck due to having so much room in the engine bay. The 4x4 system works wonderfully on ice and snow. And living in a place where we have that most of the year, I couldn't ask for more. The interior of the truck is actually quite advanced for its time having a fully digital interface for the radio and HVAC controls. The bench seat is extremely comfortable, and easy to adjust. There's tons of light that come in through the large windows, and the dash is not in the way. The truck bed is a 3/4's size, which is big enough to fit just about anything you have in mind from utility vehicles to an entire garage full of tools. The bed liner material that came with the truck is resistant, and rarely scratches. The power that the truck has to tow other vehicles or campers is incredible, and the fuel mileage doesn't seem to suffer much, if at all while towing. Truly a remarkable truck for the road or the farm.

Tough, Reliable Truck
This truck is dependable, tough, economical, and also has good performance. I've put this truck through many different paces through decades of ownership and it has never failed me. It's been used in farm work in the Midwest, driven through tough terrain in Canada and Alaska, and also been an everyday vehicle. The engine provides plenty of power for both towing heavy loads and also cruising the interstate and passing. The body has held through tough winters and lots of road salt without rusting away. The truck is economical enough overall that it provides decent gas mileage when used for commuting or driving long distances. The main components of the truck have held up over the years and only needed basic maintenance or replacement at an appropriate time.
