2010 Kia Soul OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Very practical vehicle.
After driving two-door cars for years, I was ready for a four-door car. The Kia Soul was technically not a car (as I was shopping for) but a crossover SUV. It ended up being perfect for me. It mimics the feel of a car in overall size while giving the qualities of an SUV. I love how the car doesn't sit so low on the ground and gives plenty of space and interior room without being excessive. I like that it gets good gas mileage like a car instead of guzzling gas like an SUV. The trunk is roomy and is easily accessible. The car rides smoothly and comes with plenty of protective air bags. The stereo system is nice as well. Overall, I think this is probably one of the best vehicles I have ever owned, and in the future, I would love to purchase something similar when I find myself in need of another vehicle.

I love my car
I have been very satisfied with my choice of vehicle. I have had no problems at all with performance in the 5 years I have been driving it. The only thing I have had to replace were the tires. It gets better gas mileage than any previous vehicle I have owned, and I like the way it looks.

A reliable car with great gas mileage and a comfortable ride with plenty of seating room.
This car is truly something special. When we first bought it, people would stop us in public to ask questions about it. Now I see them all over town, seems I'm not the only one for an eye for reliability. We use the car mostly to get my grandfather to and from dialysis 3 times a week, and the gas mileage makes it very doable. Have I mentioned how reliable this thing is? You can drop what your doing and make a 2 1/2 hour drive and not even worry about getting it checked out first. It's got 5 seats, two captains chairs up front and a bench seat in the back with a middle buckle. The seats fold forward so you can have more room for taking home groceries, etc. We use it to fit the walker/wheelchair in the back of the car when needed. The style of the car is modern and sleek, without looking like a Scion Toaster-mobile. It curves in just the right places, giving it a sleek look. It's fairly high up, meaning it's easy for my tall disabled grandfather to get in and out of, compared to their previous Kia Rio, it's a night and day difference. The stock sound system in this car is one of the best on the market. There is a proper sub woofer, and the speakers are fantastic. This car gets about 35mpg on the highway and 25-30 in city traffic. Needless to say, 20 dollars goes a long way in the gas tank. This car has a comfy ride. It smooths the bumps of the road thanks to a proper shock system, making it gentle to go even over bumpy terrain. In conclusion, I wouldn't trade this car for the world. Maybe trade it for a newer model, but I'm so pleased with it I wouldn't consider a sedan or any other vehicle. The seats fold forward, so we can fit a wheelchair in for goodness sakes! It's perfect for the elderly and for those taking care of the elderly like myself.
