Great car choice
It has been one of the best investments I have made to date. It had about 30,000 miles when I first purchased the vehicle, compared to my previous vehicle having 200,000. It has really fantastic fuel mileage. I can easily get 28-30 miles per gallon in town, and 35-40 freeway. It is a very well built vehicle. It drives really smoothly, has no rattling. It is very quiet, both inside and out. It blocks out most noise on the inside, even when driving on the freeway. Both the driver and passenger windows are automatic. The interior design was well thought through and very up to date. The seats are very comfortable, so long drives are more bearable. The stereo is very nice, it has a lot of features that I enjoy using a lot. It is a stock stereo, it has Bluetooth capabilities, for both music needs and also for hands free calling. It has a voice command system as well, you click a button on the steering wheel and simply tell it what you want to do. It has been very responsive and I have had minimal problems with it. You can give it commands such as "repeat" "random" "call (specify name)" and it has not seemed to give me much problems, even when there is background noise. It also has power steering adjustment as well located on the steering wheel. You can change how tight the power steering is at the time and I find myself using it a lot more than I originally thought. It has comfort, normal, and sport mode. The comfort mode makes the power steering very loose and not take much to turn the wheel, which is useful for in town driving. Normal is basically like any other car equipped with power steering, it has a tighter feel than comfort but it still isn't hard to turn the wheel. Sport mode is more for higher speeds such as freeway driving. It keeps the wheel a lot tighter, makes it harder to make sudden turning motions there for making it safer for high speeds. It also has an eco button to increase gas mileage. I found that it works best on the freeway, and doesn't help too much while driving in town but it is still a nice feature to have. It also has a slap shift as well, which I enjoy using and is a nice way to increase gas mileage even further. There aren't many cons of the vehicle, a few would be the small trunk space. The seats fold down to accommodate that, but you can't fold the seats down if you have backseat passengers. The pickup speed could be a little bit quicker, but it's not a sports car so you kind of expect that to begin with. Other than those few cons, it is a great car to have and I would recommend purchasing one.

Excellent hatchback, with room to spare!
I recently bought a 2014 Kia Soul from a local dealer and I went in worried that by purchasing a car that wasn't as expensive I would suffer for it in quality. However this little car is big on the inside, has a great deal of power under the hood and has a lot of features for a very reasonable price. There are both pros and cons for the car (the cons I can mostly ignore, because they are small and can be fixed or avoided), but overall I think it was the right choice for me and for the right price; it allowed me to upgrade from my worn out 2002 Ford Explorer that was hitting the 300,000 miles mark... so that's always a plus.

Fantastic and fun car to drive
The Kia Soul in a fantastic car. I never had any issues out of it whatsoever. The inside felt very spacious for a smaller vehicle. I had no issue fitting all of my friends into it at once time. I had my girlfriend in the front passenger and three of my friends in the backseat. But just take a moment to realize that these guys were each good sized people. One of them was around 170lb at 6'4", another around 200lb at 5'12", and the last was around 250lb at 6'3". So that truly says how spacey the car was to seat three people of those sized in the back seats. I had picked them up from the airport when they came in since they live all across the world and we was able to fit all four of us in the car with three large luggage bags and several smaller bags into the car comfortably for a two hour drive. The sound system in the Kia Soul is fantastic. I feel as if there's no other car that feels more enjoyable to listen to than the Kia Soul. The speaker layout is just so nice and with the upgraded audio system, it sure is a, "Music box" as I like to call it. The comfort of the car was acceptable, along with the fuel economy. I never had any issues hitting the suggested MPG ratings and sometimes better than what was advertised. Unfortunately I only had just hit 59,000 miles on the car before I was involved in a terrible car accident. I had been hit directly in the passenger door by a driver in a large van running a red light at around 60MPH. I can say that the Kia Soul protected my life with all it had. The car was totaled, but the impact of the other vehicle was absorbed extremely well by the Soul. I only came out with bruises and scratches from the accident and I can only thank Kia for that. They make such sound vehicles and I trust them with my life. So if you want an affordable, fun, reliable car that will do a fantastic job at protecting you, then look no further than the Kia Soul.
