A Fun Car
The Miata is a fun car to drive. The interior has some wear, but overall looks good. We have kept up with basic maintenance and have had no major mechanical problems with it. We have found some nicks on the convertible top. Also, there is a tear where the back window is attached to the top. We have done some repairs, however the top needs to be replaced. It would probably hold up better if we had a garage or carport to keep it in/under.

The Affordable Sports Car
I purchased the Miata as a secondhand vehicle 8 years ago for just $7,000. The car is very sleek and stylish and although not a very expensive car it gets many compliments. The gas consumption is good whether you are driving long distance or just around town. As this was the LX version there is an attractive interior with very comfortable, leather sports seats. When driving this car it feels like it is a part of you and it handles really well. I live on an island and this is the perfect island car being nippy and handling great down all the small streets. It is fast although being such a small car I never take it over about 85. It overtakes really well and the sound of the engine reminds you that it really is a sports car and loves to go fast. The sound system is a Bose and the sound is better than I have at the house. This car really offers a lot of luxury for such a low price. Although a small, car the trunk is generous and can easily handle my golf clubs when required. If I had to think of any negatives to this vehicle I would remind people that this is a small car that is low on the ground so when traveling in heavy traffic on the larger roads it can feel a little scary at times. This is not something I do that often so it really has not been a problem.
