Used Chevrolet Blazer for Sale

My wife and I bought our Chevy Blazer to accommodate our lifestyle while pregnant with our first kid. We needed a reliable vehicle that could fit at least 4 people + cargo. Our Blazer has exceeded most of our expectations in the last 5 years of ownership.

I like the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer's combination of ride quality, interior space, low operating cost, and reliability. The main problem has been a slowly worsening fuel injection system.

The Blazers style is wonderful. It has plenty of room and that is a plus for a family. You do not have to worry about bending down and fighting with a low to the ground car to get a car seat in and out. The look of the Blazer is beautiful. Its not to big and its not to small. The one I have is pewter colored and has black and chrome accents. The inside is spacious and comfortable. It has a huge space in the cargo area for anything you want to take with you. Whether you are getting groceries or going camping it will handle your load. We went camping and slept in the blazer because the back seats can lay down and you can fit a twin size mattress in the back. It is very versatile. There are a few blind spots in the blazer since it is higher off the ground and a little larger than a car. You have to watch and make sure there is nothing behind you when backing up a little more in the Blazer than a little car. It has not been in the shop to awful much but it has had some work done since it is a 1998 and has 215,000 miles on it. It has had the intake gasket replaced along with the fuel injection lines as well as a couple fuel pumps and the water pump and the occasional spark plug and tire replacement. The gas mileage is a little on the low side getting 16 in town and 22 on interstate but not to bad for what it is. Maintenance and repair costs are a little high but its about the same price as any other vehicle. It is very fun to drive. It has plenty of power with a 4.3 vortec motor. The acceleration is wonderful and the braking is also great. As far as handling you have to be extra cautious because since the Blazer is an SUV it can flip while going around a curve but other than that little problem it handles really smoothly. I do feel very safe in the Blazer because I have been driving it for 6 years and have gotten used to how to handle it. I would recommend this to anybody because they are such wonderful vehicles.
