Chevrolet Captiva Sport OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
New York, New York
It is just amazing car one can have.
This car's built quality is extremely fantastic, one can easily drive this car due to its power steering.it is capable of doing speeds higher than 90mph very easily, I drive this car daily and I have been using it since a long time I have Chevrolet Captiva LTZ VCDi. It is a luxury SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). It has an attractive look and comfortable seats. I am happy with the performance. It has seven sitting capacity. Really It is a good vehicle to drive in the city & highways. My family is happy with my choice.

Small SUV with all the bells and whistles.
I was looking for a small SUV, we had a compact car, and we are a family of four, so we needed more space, without astronomically increasing our gas budget. The Captiva is cute and very aerodynamically shaped, the rear seats fold, and the back door is a hatch which provides ample space for transporting small to medium sized items with ease. The Captiva averages about 25mpg, which is a solid number in a car of this class. The trim package is what excited me the most, it came with Chevrolet OnStar services, as well as Sirius XM radio. The seats were all leather, for easy cleaning with children. The SUV has a power moon roof, which was a huge selling point for me. Throughout the life of the vehicle we have had a few mechanical issues, that were resolved quickly once the problem was identified. Overall I would suggest this vehicle to anyone looking for a small/mid size SUV for a small family.

Affordable but not a luxury vehicle
The biggest draw for me regarding the Chevy Captiva 2015 LS was that it was (is) my first car. When we went to the lot, we initially were looking at Toyota RAV 4s, and after checking out a few 2012-2013 models, we weren't super satisfied. After having the opportunity to drive the vehicle around the lot a little bit, it seemed like it was a pretty clear improvement over the RAV 4s. The display in the car was much more modern, it had more bells and whistles in the interior, and so on and so forth. However, it seems like the overall build of the car is fairly cheap, as there are always little things that kind of set me off while I am driving. For example, the car makes a ton of noise while driving and I don't really know why. Additionally, I started driving on cars that were much larger than the Captiva sport, so it felt much smaller by comparison. The engine was also smaller, which I found to be fairly annoying when it came time to accelerate out of a red light or when trying to merge onto a highway. There is something very frustrating about being passed by a bunch of people whose cars are able to reach top speed much faster than mine by comparison.
