Nice Car / Some Problems
So I want to say this is a nice ride because it the nicest I have ever owned. The interior and all the bells and whistles are sweet, When they start to crap out its not worth repairing all the over engineered electrical though. So the seats are in a fixed position and the dash lights and gauges are dropping like flies. So before I get into it, I was the second owner, and the first may have been a complete nincompoop. Bought it at 135ish and have had to replace almost everything on the engine within the first year. Glad I'm handy or I would be looking at well over $6000 in repairs. Lets see, water pump, power steering unit, alternator, ac condenser(which seized, snapped the serp and left me stranded in Nebraska), then of course the bearings in the belt tensioner went. Then the MAF sensor and temp sensor needed to be replaced to get the thing to even stay running at idle. *Advice, clean the throttle body asap, its gummed trust me. Oh and three replacement coil packs were "faulty", just my luck. I was buying them at a dealership to replace one that died. They replaced them though. I have replaced all of the stock parts because all of the ball joints (8) were F'ed, and the sway bar end links. Have done three wheel bearings in 2 years too. Exhaust issues are pretty common for Winter state cars so it rattles and can be a little noisy in the morning. I have replaced both O2 sensors also. So I'm in it for almost 4000 more than I bought it for but it runs like a champ. (Always does until it quits) Hopefully at this point I will drive it to 300,000. I'll make sure to post when it gets there or something expensive goes and I drive it off a dam cliff! Oh now I have to add a $270 fan clutch yay. Seriously over engineered, electric clutch when its right on the water pump shaft anyway. Really is the mechanical advance tech that has worked for 50 yrs on trucks just won't do it anymore.

This Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT is definitely one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Chevy is a brand known for producing quality trucks and SUVs and this one is definitely fits the bill.
The Chevrolet at ext trailblazer is definitely a quality vehicle produced by shipping. I purchased my 2002 back in 2006 and it is still in great shape and runs well. I have not had to provide any repairs on the vehicle outside of regular maintenance and the replacement of the occasional part that has needed to be replaced due to its age or the use that I have put on it. I am NOT one of those guys that gets their car detailed on any regular basis however I do clean it out from time to time, with that being said the interior of this vehicle is extremely durable even with children. With the occasional leather conditioner once or twice a year all of the chairs are in great condition the dash as with fan the test of time with an occasional Armor All treatment. Even the Bose sound system has managed to stay in very good condition with his 5 CD disc changer becoming obsolete in a time of mp3 players and Bluetooth deal works like a charm. My favorite thing about the vehicle itself is its dependability. We've driven this vehicle from east coast to west coast New York to Texas, and outside of the regular maintenance we've had no issues. The only kind I can give anyone about purchasing this vehicle or any newer models would be do not let little ones play with all of the bells and whistle like the 4 wheel drive switch rearview mirror operating switches, window switches etcetera because while these things are made for everyday use kids can be rougher than a built-in causes things to break.

Good room, bad MPG
This car has been a pretty good family car for us the past 4 years. The interior is spacious and there is plenty of leg room for a tall driver. My kids really enjoy the DVD player in the back that can be used with wireless headphones. I haven’t utilized the features of the towing package yet but the car seems to have plenty of power for everyday use. The car has SIRIUS XM satellite installed and also comes with a six CD changer which has been handy. Additionally, I am able to utilize my wireless Bluetooth adapter to listen to music and give/receive phone calls over my car speakers. This is my second Trailblazer. First one was 2003. Kept the 2003 for about 4 years and 90,000+ miles. I bought the 2006 in 2009 with about 30,000 miles on it. It now has 115,000 miles. Love its power and appearance. Not sure why they have so many radio commands on the steering wheel ..should have placed the speed control buttons there instead... Also not a lot of leg room in rear seats. so far, no snow...hopefully its good... Overall, I like it, but where are the nice touches for the interior?
