Not a long lasting car.
This car treated me well for 50,000+ miles and ran well when it did. But once it started breaking down everything went. Parts for this car are also through the roof! But overall the style and paint job on body on this car a decent. The ride was comfortable, and the air in this thing was amazing on a hot summer day. Traction in the snow on the other hand was very iffy. It could have just been my tires but they were the factory recommended tires for the year and model. The classic is said to be almost identical to the Malibu that came one year before it and those cars have lots of reported problems and I see a lot of them breaking down. I'm not sure about them fixing the newer models or the newer Malibu's but they definitely need reworked. Some of the trim on the inside plastics and such held out but you could also tell that their time had come but were still holding on. The seating cleans up pretty good though, having quite a few spills on it they do come right out with the right cleaner and some scrubbing. In the end I'm not sure what the value and ownership costs of this car were but it did get me from a to b for a few years and hey, it was used... So what can I say?

Review of the 2005 Chevy Classic
I bought the 2005 Chevy Classic about 3 years ago as a commuter car for getting back and forth from college. The car has been very durable and has made it through 3 winters of heavy salt usage on the roads. There is no rust on the vehicle. I have not had one mechanical issue with this car and no check engine lights have come on in the 3 years that I've owned it. I am not usually a Chevy fan but when I found this car for a decent price, I went for it as it had a perfect body condition and low miles. It handles wonderfully in the snow and in icy conditions. What I don't like about the car is that the back seat has built in headrests. As someone that uses car seats in the backseat, it's been hard to find one that would properly fit a car seat. Furthermore, it doesn't properly protect people whose heads go over the headrest. But all in all, it was worth it to purchase this vehicle and I look forward to driving it for many years to come.
