I got a 2 door base model cobalt. What I like is the look. It looks like a little sporty car that has a little get up to it. What I don't like is performance. The car is not fast on acceleration at also. Also the interior leaves something to be desired. It does come satellite radio equipped and the sound system while nothing special is adequate. The car is not particularly comfortable nor uncomfortable. At highway speeds there is considerable noise but everything seems like it will hold together. My only gripe is that I had an issue with the car where the power steering went out. Unlike most cars Chevy uses a electronic power steering assist located in the wheel. Luckily my car fell under a recall so I was able to get this fixed for free but still I was more than a little perturbed when my power steering went out.

I have mixed feelings about my Chevy cobalt. On one hand, I enjoy how economic and inexpensive it is. On the other hand, there are a lot of lacking features and qualities, that I do find myself missing. I enjoy the sporty look, however it can feel cheap. The chrome plastic on the handles are peeling and wearing off, after only 5 years of use. The inside of the car rattles when the temperature changes. The steering feels tight, and the AC isn't very strong. The drivability is nice, however it can feel cramped inside the car itself. I have an infant son, and have difficulties loading him in and out of his car seat, due to the restricted seating space.
