2011 Chevrolet Impala OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

The car makes me mad
My car is a 2011 Chevy Impala. It has 90,000 miles. I bought it two and a half years ago. It's like dark gray with remote car start. Power everything makes it really nice.

Large car, great features.
I've owned one Impala prior to this one and they have both been fabulous. My current has 150k+ miles on it and performs great with minimal continued maintenance on it. I love the size and the weight of the car. I've piled people in there and everyone still has comfortable space and room for their stuff in the trunk. I've also had experiences with some slippery/scary roads up in Minnesota and Wisconsin with snow and ice and the weight of the car does a great deal to help deal with that the ABS system is also a huge added perk that I would be searching for in a future car. I love how easy the cruise control and media buttons are accessible being on the steering wheel. The other technology features on the console are becoming dated, but were great technology in 2011 when the car was new. The heated seats are also a lifesaver in the cold winters and autostart is phenomenal. The seats being able to fold down for access through the trunk is something I use on a monthly basis. I've fit chairs, desks, full 30x80 French doors, etc. in my car and have had no issues. Such a versatile car for someone who can't afford or doesn't want the size of an SUV.

Great Everyday Vehicle
I spent over six months researching used cars and this was the best one I could find with the combination of great price with low mileage (only 21K miles for a 5yr old car! Sign me up!). It is the base model but still packs a lot of great features. Sirius/XM radio, cruise control, power seats just to name a few. The car has a beefy 6cyl engine and man does it get up and go on the highway. Very comfortable and quiet ride on the highway as well. Only problem I've had so far over the last year is a small rattle from the the rear passenger area, but I think it is merely a loose clamp that holds the exhaust up. Other than that the car runs, looks, and feels great. This vehicle has black exterior with a light grey cloth interior and all power windows. The dealership I purchased from did have a 2012 with a few more options, but the 2011 just seemed like a better fit for me personally. Overall I would recommend the Impala in just about any year as my family has always owned at least one amongst the 12 of us. Hopefully will upgrade to a 2017 next year!
