Great Hybrid Car from Chevrolet
The vehicle is great for driving less than 40 miles roundtrip. You won't have to use any gas, especially in the summer. If it is cold outside, you will want to keep that trip at 30 miles or below to not use gas. One thing that I don't like about the vehicle is that you have to put premium gas in the car. The car has a plastic-like feel inside with the center console, but most of the buttons have been removed and they are just touch. There is a nice touch screen in the middle console where you can check to see if you can improve your driving style. The car has good torque for an electric vehicle. It is not like a Prius in that this vehicle always uses the battery to power the car. The gasoline powers the battery.

Chevy Volt: gas saving smart car.
In the course of a day, I spend about 30 miles driving in and around my city. This past summer, I filled my tank one time thanks to the ability of plugging my Volt into a regular outlet. The trade off between paying a little extra electricity compared to pouring gallons of gas in my 7-gallon tank is well worth it. My Volt runs very smooth and is almost complete silent.

Big room in a little car.
The Chevy Volt is a beast. It is one of the few truly electric motors. What makes it better than other electric cars is that it also has an on-board generator that kicks on recharges your battery. Therefore you are capable of driving long distances that exceed battery life, unlike Teslas. This is my second Volt. I hope to get a new one in the next year or two.
