2011 Chevrolet Equinox OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Great car, great investment.
I like the 2011 Chevy Equinox because it is a high quality vehicle with lots of perks. The auto Heat/AC is great, the heated seats are a great convenience in the winter time. Remote start is great in the heat of the summer and cold of the winter. It has the overall package that I wanted for an SUV. The handling and performance is good. For an SUV it has the ability to pick up and go when you want it to. It feels like a very safe vehicle although I have not had any accidents to test that out. This is a v6 all wheel drive vehicle and has never let me down in the snow or with the power the engine is able to provide for an SUV. The Equinox has great interior space without being a huge vehicle, this is a very comfortable vehicle to drive and you can have several passengers without anyone feeling cramped and have space in the back to carry plenty of luggage if necessary. This Equinox has a black paint scheme and even in the summer with the lighter colored leather seats the seats are not scorching hot when you get in. I have loved this vehicle since we purchased it and would purchase another one.

A dependable car with good value
The 2011 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT is an all around good car. Two engine choices are available - a 4 cylinder or a V6, as well as FWD or AWD. It is a small SUV built on a sedan platform, giving it good fuel economy and a comfortable ride as if it were a smaller car. The redesign for this model year has given it a sleek new design with a rounded shape with nice curves. The cabin is incredibly spacious and even has an adjustable back seat that slides forward and back. The trunk is very large for the size of the car, but not at the expense of making the rest of the passenger area feel cramped. The quality has held up well in the first three years - only 6 oil changes and a few other regular maintenance items have been needed to keep it running well. One disadvantage is the lack of power on the 4 cylinder model - this engine is designed for a much lighter car and feels sluggish in the Equinox; on the upside, it gives great fuel economy. Still, the car is fun to drive (especially with the sunroof open) and feels sporty on the highway despite it being a larger SUV-type vehicle. The car has many safety features including ABS and traction control and has kept me safe on the road throughout harsh winters and blazing hot summers and everything in between.
