Dependable spacious vehicle
The Chevy Equinox is a great vehicle for small family. The Equinox has a very smooth ride. The motor is very quiet. The interior fabric is durable and stands up to messy kids. The interior is also stylish and comfortable. There is a lot of space in the vehicle for cargo, and the seats fold down to offer even more space when needed. It is very easy to operate, and the electronics are of good quality. My favorite feature of the Equinox is the rear view camera. It makes backing up and parallel parking so much easier. The rear camera display includes colored caution strips to show you how close you are to an object. The vehicle is drives very well in all weather conditions. It comes with indicator lights for things like oil and tire levels so you know to fix before they cause an issue. The visors each have light that comes on when you open so you can see what your doing in them. Also, the front area console has very good setup so that you can easily store your frequently used items. The only drawback of the car IÕve noticed is the fuel economy. It only gets 10-15 miles per gallon.

Excellent quality and value with the Chevrolet Equinox.
I really love my Chevrolet Equinox because it offers a lot of features at a reasonable price point. I wanted a spacious SUV that is not too big or too small, and the Equinox fits that exactly. It has a lot of interior space, and the cabin materials and styling is very upscale for a car that is not expensive. It looks like a much more expensive car from inside, and I only have the base model LS with no upgrades or other options. Another positive attribute of the Equinox is that if you are someone who travels with passengers in the backseats, you will love the Equinox because it is really spacious in the rear seats, and your friends/family will have a lot of legroom during long trips. For a vehicle of its size, the Equinox also gets very good gas mileage. I average about 26 miles city/highway driving combined. It does have an eco mode (which I use); or if you want more performance, then you can switch off eco mode. It has good visibility as a driver when looking back or in the front. But as with many cars of this size, it does have strong side pillars in the front, which I think helps it do well in crash tests, but it is something to be aware of that you need to look around them when driving in parking lots, etc.

Great everyday vehicle!
My Chevy Equinox is wonderful and fits our needs wonderfully. I have had an SUV for many years, but this one seems to be fitted to us better than any before. Our children are both grown, so we no longer are hauling around friends, sporting equipment, dance equipment, school bags, etc., so we don't need a larger SUV. The Equinox is roomy enough to be comfortable for us plus our two grandchildren if we take them along. We have electric windows, door locks, touchscreen radio, equipment controls on steering wheels, sun roof, great stereo, GPS, keyless entry, security alarm, heated seats, synced dual air controls, rear vents, rear air controls, USB connections, side mirror blind spot alert, hidden cargo compartment in rear, and so much more! The seats are comfortable even on long trips. The inside area is roomy and has plenty of head and leg room. All of this and the monthly payment for the same number of months as our prior loan is $20 a month cheaper. We would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone. We're most than pleased and will definitely lean towards Chevrolet for our next vehicle!
