Powertrain: There are two powertrain options available:
A 6.2-liter V8 engine making 385 horsepower and 430 pound-foot of torque comes standard. A 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 TurboDiesel engine delivering 450 horsepower and 935 pound-foot of torque is available.
A 6-speed automatic transmission and a SRW, single-rear wheel configuration are standard. A dual-rear wheel configuration is available. The F-350 is offered in 4x2 or a 4x4 drivetrain.

AdvanceTrac comes as the standard safety package starting with the base Ford F-350 XL. Stability control, six airbags, a crash alert system, and trailer sway control are included.
Some available options are blind spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, LED exterior lighting, and a rear view camera.
Blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, lane-keep assist, and emergency braking are also available options.

The new Ford F-350 Super Duty pick up truck is a powerhouse that offers some good value for individuals as well as for more commercial oriented businesses used as a fleet vehicle.
There are six trim levels for the 2019 Ford F-350 that are F-350 Super Duty XL, F-350 XLT, F-350 Lariat, F-350 King Ranch, F-350 Platinum, and F-350 Limited.
A wide range of packages and options are available to change the appearance and functionality of the Ford Super Duty F-350. Such additions as a tailgate step and tailgate lift assist help with loading the bed. Skid plates, cross bed tool boxes, and different bedliners and safety assist features are available as well. Depending on tastes and budget, the F-350 is very customizable and can cost upward of $90,000 for a fully loaded Ford F-350 Limited.
Even though the upper tier trims add some nice bells and whistles, at $35,815, we like the XL trim that offers a solid value even with just the basics.
Tech Features: 7/10
Infotainment is fairly standard in the F-350 with the base model. Air conditioning and a 4-speaker audio system come standard.
The Ford F-350 Lariat trim levels and above get the Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and WiFi. A 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with satellite radio, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, remote start, and a navigation system.
Competitors like the RAM 3500 offer larger touchscreens.
Practicality: 10/10
The F-350 is a powerhouse that offers comfortable and spacious seating in different cab configurations and bed lengths.
A 40/20/40 split front seat comes standard with leather front bucket seats and a center console available. A manually adjusted telescoping steering wheel is standard as well as manually adjusted telescoping trailer tow mirrors.
The regular cab and 6.2-liter engine has an eight-foot bed standard with SRW and DRW available. The shorter 6.75' bed on the supercab and crew cab variants coupled with the same powertrain are only available as SRW. The eight-foot supercab and crew cab models coupled with the optional 6.7-liter TurboDiesel engine are available as both SRW and DRW.
Towing is a highlight of the 2019 Ford F-350, as can be expected from one of the industry truck leaders. It has some raw tow capacity with its monster torque and when properly equipped it can tow up to 21,000 pounds. Gooseneck towing capacity can reach up to 35,000 pounds and payload capacity is up to 7,460 pounds. The Ford F-350 is no weakling and can tackle some of the most demanding jobs. Compared to rivals like the Chevy Silverado 3500s smaller capabilities, it is easy to see why the F-350 is so popular.
Styling & Design: 8/10
The front end of the Ford Super Duty F-350 is appropriately chunky and blockish telling of its huge V8 diesel engine. It is hard for work trucks like the Ford F-350 to stand out with a new body style in the heavy-duty truck segment, but it is attractive nonetheless.
To get more features like power adjustable leather seats, electronically deployed running boards, 20-Inch alloy wheels, and skid plates, shoppers should look to higher tier trims and available packages and upgrades.
Driving Experience: 9/10
The addition of the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 certainly gives the F-350 some power. Highway driving is smooth and acceleration is good for such a large pick up truck. The TurboDiesel has enough torque to easily tow 10,000 pounds and upward all day.
Offering an all aluminum body, Ford has been able to reduce the curb weight of the F-350 significantly while still retaining it's great towing capacity.
The Ford F-350 packs a bit more power than rivals like the GMC Sierra and RAM 3500 with similar powertrains.

Since it is considered a commercial vehicle, the Ford F-350 does not have EPA estimated MPG.
